(3:45 p.m. EDT) — Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ newest ship, Seven Seas Splendor, will have 375 suites in 10 categories, and will bring back favorites from sister ship Seven Seas Explorer, including the Compass Rose and pan-Asian Pacific Rim restaurants.

“With Seven Seas Splendor’s upcoming debut, we are focused on perfecting all the details,” said Jason Montague, president and CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, in a statement. “Everything on board the ship is designed to provide a sophisticated yet comfortable retreat for our guests, and we’re confident that they’ll appreciate the attention to detail that has been put into perfecting the newest ship in our fleet.”

Public Spaces

Debuting four years after sister ship Seven Seas Explorer launched, Seven Seas Splendor will not be a carbon copy of its sister. Several popular areas on Deck 4 and 5 will see significant revisions. For instance, the Grand Staircase will face the entrance to the Compass Rose restaurant, rather than the elevators. The popular Coffee Connection is moving to the port (left) side of the ship and is being expanded with an alfresco seating area.

Suites

Seven Seas Splendor will offer 375 suites, ranging from the 307-square-foot entry-level Veranda Suite to the opulent 4,443-square-foot Regent Suite. All suites have a private balcony, along with European king-sized Elite Slumber Beds and an oversized bathroom outfitted with marble and decorative tile.

Among the suite types being offered are:

Distinctive Suites: The Regent, Master, Grand, Splendor, Seven Seas and Penthouse Suites represent the 88 Distinctive Suites onboard. Passengers booked in these suites receive a one-night, pre-cruise hotel package, priority restaurant reservations, daily canape delivery, personalized butler service, a choice of bath amenities and a customized pillow menu. Of these the Regent Suite is the line’s showstopper; it’s situated at the very top of the ship, boasts a 1,417-square-foot-balcony, and features a master bath with gilded golden accents, a private spa with steam and sauna and access to a personal car and guide in each port of call.

Concierge Suites: These account for 140 cabins onboard Seven Seas Splendor. Cruisers in these suites get a one-night, pre-cruise hotel package and priority access to book shore excursions and specialty dining. This category of suites have been designed to maximize ocean views with the Elite Slumber Beds facing the private balcony.

Superior & Veranda Suites: The Superior, Deluxe Veranda and Veranda Suites are 464, 361 and 307 square feet, respectively. These rooms all have a curtain that separate the bedroom from the sitting area, which has a plush sofa, coffee table large enough for in-suite dining and desk space.
