Holland America Line formally dedicated its 99-room addition to the McKinley Chalet Resort in central Alaska.

HAL said the new Ridge View building is the first to have junior suites, accounting for over half the units.

Stays at the McKinley Chalet Resort are part of Holland America Line’s Land+Sea Journeys program in Alaska.

The ribbon-cutting was attended by Carnival Corp. CEO Arnold Donald, Holland America Group CEO Stein Kruse, HAL president Orlando Ashford, HAL executive vice president Charlie Ball, and staff members, business partners and community members.

Correction: The new building is called Ridge View. The name was incorrect in a prior version of this report.
