Crystal Expedition Cruises will fly passengers on private charter flights between Miami and Ushuaia, Argentina, for the inaugural Antarctica season of the Crystal Endeavor.
Crystal said it will also provide hotel nights in both cities to Endeavor guests.
Crystal’s plan follows similar ones from Atlas World Cruises and Lindblad Expeditions, which are also chartering flights from Florida to Ushuaia.
“Providing our guests chartered, nonstop air directly from the United States to the port of embarkation in Ushuaia ensures a worry-free and effortless vacation experience with the assurance that all logistics and details have been expertly handled and arranged, as well as the added peace of mind of knowing that all age-eligible guests aboard our chartered flights have been fully vaccinated,” Crystal president Jack Anderson said in a statement.
The Endeavor, a polar-class expedition yacht, will sail eight Antarctica cruises roundtrip from Ushuaia from November through February. Cruises range from 11 to 19 days.
The ship has 18 Zodiacs, 14 sea kayaks and a two-guest submersible.
