In a short time, Atlas Ocean Voyages has carved out a niche in the luxury expedition cruise market. With its fleet of polar-class yachts accommodating fewer than 200 guests, the line emphasises all-inclusive comfort, culinary excellence and immersive exploration. Over the past six months the brand has unveiled a series of announcements that expand its itineraries, enhance onboard accommodation, and set the stage for an exciting future.

Earlier this year, Atlas opened bookings for its 2025‑26 Antarctica season. The schedule runs from October 2025 through March 2026 and includes 37 departures aboard World Voyager, World Navigator and World Traveller. Voyages range from seven- to 18-night expeditions, with itineraries exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, crossing the Antarctic Circle, and venturing to South Georgia and the Falkland Islands. Complementary charter jet service from the U.S. and pre‑cruise hotel nights are included in the fare.

Building on that success, Atlas announced its 2026‑27 Antarctica season in July. The new collection offers six distinct itinerary options, providing more variety and flexibility. Guests can choose between classic nine- to 11-night expeditions or longer journeys combining Antarctica with South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. All voyages feature the line’s inclusive pricing—round-trip air from select cities, parkas, Zodiac excursions and gratuities.

Outside Antarctica, Atlas is extending its reach into the High Arctic. In May the line unveiled a new 17-night Canadian Arctic expedition for summer 2026. Sailing from Reykjavik to Toronto aboard World Voyager, the journey traces the seldom-seen landscapes of Greenland’s west coast before crossing the Davis Strait to Baffin Island and the storied Northwest Passage. Highlights include Ilulissat Icefjord, the fjords of Baffin Island, and rarely visited ports such as Pond Inlet and Iqaluit. This new itinerary adds a unique polar option for travelers who have already visited Antarctica.

Atlas also released its 2026 global program featuring 48 departures and 28 new ports of call. The line’s three expedition yachts will sail far beyond the polar regions, from the sun-kissed coasts of Portugal and Morocco to the British Isles, Iceland and Norway’s fjords. Standout voyages include a summer 2026 cultural cruise from Dublin to Amsterdam with a resident historian, an epicurean itinerary through Portugal and Spain accompanied by guest chefs, and an expedition along Norway’s coast timed for the midnight sun.

Perhaps the most notable onboard development is the introduction of new Junior Suites and Concierge Collection amenities. Effective April 2, 2026, select staterooms—Horizon Deluxe, Veranda Deluxe and Horizon—will be reclassified as Junior Suites, providing 25 percent more interior space than standard veranda staterooms. These Junior Suites include the Concierge Collection perks such as welcome canapés, priority behind-the-scenes tours of the bridge and engine room, complimentary laundry service, and 10 percent savings at the onboard boutique and by L’OCCITANE-suite amenities and the line’s already generous inclusions—premium spirits, stocked minibar, 24hour room service and L’Occitane bath products—remain part of the experienc

Atlas Ocean Voyages is also strengthening its support for travel advisors. In July the company announced several new trade-facing hires, expanding its sales and marketing team in North America. The reinforcement underscores a commitment to working closely with advisors and delivering bespoke itineraries tailored to discerning clients.

Expert Insight: With a focus on intimate yachts and immersive itineraries, Atlas Ocean Voyages continues to distinguish itself in the expedition market. The introduction of reimagined Junior Suites and concierge-level perks raises the bar for onboard comfort, while the addition of a Canadian Arctic expedition and more flexible Antarctic seasons broadens the line’s appeal beyond polar veterans. For sophisticated travelers seeking small-ship luxury with authentic cultural and culinary experiences, Atlas’ evolving portfolio offers compelling reasons to explore both ends of the world and everything in between.
